I was hoping you might be interested in Zenkit, a web app (therefore platform agnostic) which lets you plan projects with a mind map, but also offers many more views of your data. First things first, Zenkit’s mind map is quite intuitive and can now be used on an iPad:

Speaking of attachments, you can attach any media you like to each of the nodes or mind map items, from your desktop or from cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox and Box.
As a loyal customer of Edraw products, among mind mapping software for Mac, I like MindMaster most. In MindMaster, you can choose two different ways to present your map. The slide-based presentation mode lets users turn mind map branches into a set of slide pages automatically with one click.

Each node you create doesn’t just exist on a mind map. Each of them is also an ‘item’, which can be changed, added to, or even created in multiple ‘views’.
Whether you’re more comfortable using Kanban, tables, lists or calendars to work on your projects, or if you want to use them all, it’s super easy to switch between these different views in Zenkit.
A node on the map is also a line in the table, or a card on the Kanban board…And once you’ve set up your mind map, you can immediately switch over to the other views to start using your ideas productively.
